Speaker Guidelines

Thank you for agreeing to present at RECS 2020. We are honored to have such a distinguished group of experts participating in this year's conference.

All speakers are required to register and include the following information by Friday, April 17, 2020.

Audiovisual Requests
  • Each meeting room will be equipped with a laptop computer (PC) with USB ports‚ LCD projector‚ and screen.
  • You will be asked to confirm any additional audiovisual needs as part of the online conference registration process. Please note that the RECS Logistics Team must approve requests for any additional audiovisual equipment. If the RECS Logistics Team cannot accommodate your request‚ you will be contacted to discuss alternatives.
  • You will be asked to submit a brief biography in narrative form (no CVs) as part of the online conference registration process. Speaker biographies must be 250 words or less in length, and will be uploaded to the conference mobile app. The biography you submitted during the Call for Proposals will be used if you do not submit an updated version during registration.
Memorandum of Understanding (supported speakers only)
  • During the registration process, supported speakers will be provided with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to fill out, sign and submit in order to receive hotel and travel support and per diem for participating in the conference. Please refer to your speaker invitation to determine whether you are approved for support.

All speakers are required to submit the following by Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

PowerPoint Presentation
  • Please send your presentation to RECS2020speakers@impaqint.com no later than Tuesday, May 19, 2020. The laptops in the session rooms are compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint 2016. Please note that we do not accept files created on Apple-specific applications.
  • All presentations submitted before the deadline will be pre-loaded onto the computer in your session room and will be posted in the conference mobile app.
  • We strongly recommend that you bring a full version of your presentation with you on a USB flash drive on the day of the presentation as a back-up.

Additional Information

  • In an effort to “go green,” we will not be printing copies of PowerPoint presentations or other handouts to distribute at the conference. If your presentation requires handouts, please make your own arrangements to print and bring them to your session.
