The 22nd Research and Evaluation Conference on Self-Sufficiency (RECS) will be held May 29–31, 2024, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.

RECS is a forum for researchers, state and local administrators, practitioners, and federal officials and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge research on programs, policies, and services that support families on the path to economic self-sufficiency and well-being. RECS 2024 will provide an opportunity to hear the latest research findings, discuss ways to incorporate findings into the design and implementation of programs, and identify future research needs. The conference is being planned as an in-person event with select sessions shared virtually.

RECS 2024 registration is open and an overview of the conference schedule is now available! Book your RECS hotel reservation today using the booking link on the Hotel & Travel page. Additional conference updates, including the full agenda, will be shared in the coming months.
