The 22nd Research and Evaluation Conference on Self-Sufficiency (RECS) was held May 29–31, 2024, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.
RECS is a forum for researchers, state and local administrators, practitioners, and federal officials and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge research on programs, policies, and services that support families on the path to economic self-sufficiency and well-being. RECS 2024 provided an opportunity to hear the latest research findings, discuss ways to incorporate findings into the design and implementation of programs, and identify future research needs. The conference took place in person with select sessions shared virtually.
